With a few of the ground floor walls removed, the kitchen was expanded across the whole back of the house, and a new dining area was created in the centre of the layout. Modern detailing and clean lines unify the different spaces and create a calm,

 The enclosed patio transforms from an opaque volume into an illuminated box when lit from within at night.

 On the second floor, the existing bathroom and three bedrooms were transformed into a primary bedroom suite that features a lounge and generous walk-in closet. The small existing bathroom was updated to feel lighter and more open, and to make better

 The primary bedroom was relocated and combined with another bedroom to create a suite with a large walk-in closet. A new deck was added off the bedroom, on top of the screened in patio below.
